A chic batik pattern, incorporating elements of Pikachu and Poké Balls in its design.

Weaved into this Batik motif are patterns of Poké Ball and the Mystic Pokémon, Xatu, lending their color palette to a lively yet chic and formal design.

A pattern featuring the Star Shape Pokémon Staryu. Staryu’s bright red core provides an accent to the muted brown design.

Inspired by traditional Batik motifs, this pattern features Pikachu and flowers in a geometric design. It has a feel unlike any of the previous designs, with a bright background and color palette.
Process of making a batik
Process 1 - Diketeli
Exploring materials. Soaking the base cloth overnight.
Process 2 - Nyanting
Exploring patterns. Cover the pattern with wax to prevent being dyed.
Process 3 - Nyelup
Exploring colors. Dipping the cloth in the dyeing liquid.
Process 4 - Nglorod
Removing wax by washing the cloth in hot water mixed with soda ash solution.
Process 5 - Mepe
Drying the wet cloth under the sunshine.
